  In prayer and seeking God for direction of what it was that he wanted me to do and the scripture in Isaiah 11:9 was reflected in my mind. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea. This became our mission scripture and this ministry is committed to the spreading of the word of God at any given opportunity. Identifiying the need Bishop Michael Muwonge did outreach ministry to schools and expanding opportunities for fellowship to continue sharing the word of God with those that had given their life to God. Glory church international was started in July /1997 with 8 members and to date the church has grown to over 500 members and established 33 churches in East Africa. STATEMENT OF FAITH. 1. We believe the Bible as the inspired word of the most high God. Genesis 2:3, 2Timothy 3:16, 2Peter 11:20-21 2. We believe the word of God is the truth. John 14:6 3. We believe in God the father ,God the son and God the holy spirit. John 1:1-2 4. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. Luke 1:26-37 5. We believe in Jesus as the savior and lord. John 3:16 6. We believe man has to be born again through faith in Jesus Christ to enter the Kingdom of God. John 3:3-16, 2corinthians 5:17 7. We believe in the water baptism. Matthew 3:1-17 8. We believe in the baptism of the holy spirit. Acts 1:4-5, Acts 2:1-4 9. We believe in the repentance and the forgiveness of sins. Acts 2:38 10. We believe in life after death. Luke 16:19-31 11. We believe Jesus Christ died on the cross and on the third day rose from the dead. Luke 23:26-46, Luke 24:1-8 12. We in the second coming of our lord Jesus Christ. Acts 1:11, Revelation 21:1-4  
   
With the recent purchase of sixty acres of land, the ministry has been able to construct seven houses to accommodate the seventy orphans currently under its care. More

Being about our Father's Business

Glory Church Int'l was started as a result of the out reach missions to schools. The church started as a fellowship at Katwe in the home of Pastor Muwonge's Mother. She opened up a room at her house and later the numbers grew and a temporary papyrus structure was constructed. Services were held in this meager like structure for about three years. Pastor Muwonge encouraged the member to contribute towards the construction of a better structure. With 3000 uganda shillings which is equivalent to 2 us dollars the construction begun. Everybody in the area ridiculed and said we would never put up that structure but to God's glory, a 1000 seater church has been constructed at the moment. The church also has apartments for the ministers and some of the orphan children stay at the premises.
