Bishop Michael Ateesa Muwonge was born, raised and educated in Katwe, outside of Kampala City, the capital of Uganda which is in East Africa. He is the founder and President of Glory Ministries International. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Glory Church, which has a membership of over 500 and is growing every week. The church is also responsible for the housing feeding, clothing, education and job training of approximately 70 adults and children.

In addition to founding the church, Bishop Muwonge began evangelizing in other nations. His early journeys took him throughout East and South Africa. After which he traveled to England, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Mexico and to several American Military bases. In recent years, he has been received in the United States on numerous occasions, in several cities from Boston to San Diego.

With the recent purchase of sixty acres of land, the ministry has been able to construct seven houses to accommodate the seventy orphans currently under its care. More

Today Bishop Muwonge continues God's assignment by evangelizing around the world, providing shelter, food, transportation, clothing and education to children orphaned by war and AIDS in Africa He is also available to come and speak to your congregation.
